There was a day when I wanted to purchase one of my favorite flowers, peonies, but I knew they were out of season. Where I currently reside, I can only find them from May to June. However, as I walked into the store, they were there—front and center, ready for me to purchase them.
I could only laugh because what others would call a coincidence was actually God showing me that nothing is impossible. You have to understand that I love these flowers—the smell, the beauty in their bloom, the vividness of their color. Depending on my budget, these flowers are always on my list to purchase at least once a season. In my personal opinion and experience, God works wonders. You see it everywhere, but I love watching it in nature. The details in petite flowers or how tiny seeds can produce bountiful fields. And many, when not cultivated for the public, are left in the wilderness for few, if anyone, to see.
So you see, those flowers were confirmation that God heard me. As the daughter of the Most High, I understood that my concerns, aligned with His will, were not just heard but brought to fruition. This is why I have to remember to dream big. To read God’s word and ensure that I am planning and preparing my mind, will, emotions, and heart for His work.
As we once again head toward the end of this year and begin a new one, I want you to bloom brightly. I wish that the talents and gifts God placed inside you take root and bloom. I pray that you understand that God sees you, hears you, and has great plans for you. Don’t give up. Lift up your head and understand that mountains are being moved because of your faith. May the blessings of the Lord be upon you and your family.
