What Fall Fashion Trends are you looking forward to? After looking at the latest releases, I do have some favorites. Let me know what your favorites are below. If you have others not listed, do not be shy about telling us what you love.
1. Make it Mellow
Those lovely mellow tones have me wondering how to implement them into my current wardrobe. My top two colors would be the cool yellow and green tones. While I must admit I am an all-year green girl, this happened years ago; the yellow has inspired me this year. I would love to try a mono-tone, preppy, chic style.

You can find affordable clothing on Amazon. There is currently a sweater that I find falls into a “preppy chic” category. The cardigan is from the brand “TXYJJP,” entitled Womens Japan Cute Cardigan Sweater Kawaii JK Uniform Open Cardigan with Buttons Aestic Long Sleeve Loose Jackets.
This item can be worn in various ways. If you order the specific item mentioned, you can wear it with a nice pair of statement jeans. I love thicker jeans with bell bottoms that are folded. I have been seeing this look around a few places. I must admit that it has a certain charm to it.
The second way is to wear fuller trousers. Banana Republic has crafted the perfect pair of pants from size zero to size 20. This selection, the Siena Wide-Leg Italian Wool Pant, is not for the weak of the heart. If you want this look, go BODLY.
2. DENIM
I will wear denim every fall. It is a timeless classic that the girls always eat up. For the past two years, we have seen denim on denim, and I have never ceased to be amazed. The key to this look is to make it your own. Are you a mommy jeans with a simple denim jacket girl? Are you ready to make bolder statements with a total denim dress?
If I had the time, I would make my own design. I am looking for a deep V skirt. I have seen many, but the brands do not offer what I envision. I want a denim skirt that accentuates the curves but keeps it very demure.
3. Angles, Asymmetry
This is a look you can truly make your own. While I typically love more demure clothing, clean-cut, daring-angled hems can be quite eye-catching. There’s something captivating about clothing that balances edge with femininity through its angles and contours. If you haven’t explored this style yet, I recommend starting with outerwear rather than shirts or pants. That way, you can experiment with it during the fall and even into winter, giving you more versatility. Garnet Hill has wonderful outerwear pieces in Clementine Buffalo Check that I would love to implement into my fall wardrobe.
4. Make it Baggy
Baggy clothing is usually a no-go for me. Sometimes, I see it and know it is not for me. However, the recent cargo pants and the baggy but classy vision have intrigued me. I have seen many denim looks that can merge the two styles. One affordable place to go is Ross. They have had several baggy clothing looks, now you may have to search, but I am sure you will find what you are looking for.
Let me know which one of these tips above is your favorite. Which one have you tried, and which ones are you looking forward to?
I’ve been loving the “butter yellow” shades that have been trending lately! I don’t own any pieces with that color myself, but it looks so good on everyone I’ve seen rock it! On the topic of asymmetrical hems- I’ve been seeing these off the shoulder sweaters featuring asymmetrical hems. They always look so stylish, especially paired with some cute shoes and mid rise jeans! Im really enjoying the concept of “elevated basics” lately
